Meeting 9/21/2010

The team decided to gather data regarding the frequency of progress monitoring using DIBELS data. If progress monitoring is completed according to NHCS frequency guidelines, are children whose DIBELS indicators are "at risk" or "below benchmark" receiving interventions through the PSM process?

Students who are "at risk (red)" should be progress monitored every other week (once/week is best practice)
Students who are "below benchmark (yellow)" should be progress monitored every four weeks (every other week is best practice)

Mclass data will be monitored for each class. The percentage of students with DIBELS indicators below proficient will be compared to students receiving PSM interventions, which will be recorded by teachers in the PSM Level 1 and 2 spreadsheet.

At this time, the following percentage of students should be progressed monitored (below proficient) at each grade level:
K: 46%
1st: 34%
2nd: 38%
3rd: 60%
4th: 56%
5th: 37%
